Bellow are some DIY gifts or ideas that I sourced from around the blog and internet world. Unfortunately I cannot share any of my DIY gift projects with you just yet! I cannot spoil the surprise for my family and friends.
Please feel free to post links to other DIY gifts you all have come across, my readers love the inspiration and not to mention I love the idea of using this blog as a communal idea sharing space. Share away!
These cute little DIY Jingle Bell Cocktail Stirrers would make just the cutest DIY Gifts! It is a sweet thoughtful gift for the entertainer in your family. AND it comes from one of my favorite blogs, The Proper Pinwheel.
These DIY Gold Nugget Earrings are nothing short of cute-dorable and would be perfect for the punky teen in your life, or just a modern woman! Also from a lovely blog titled: Lovely Indeed.
I have seen these things on Pinterest many times, and have probably re-pinned them at least 4 times without realizing it. This Sewing Kit in a Jar is totally DIY-able and would be great for any college kid or sewing fiend. You can pick out new colors of thread that they don’t have yet and some unique buttons for future projects.
These simple yet trendy hodge-podged mugs/cups make a great gift for just about anyone who has a desk (mom, dad, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, etc!!) You can obviously modify any aspect of this, color of cup/imagery selection and make it special for your recipient. You can find a how to on my favorite blog Young House Love.
I have to admit, these modern DIY Coil Bowls do not look easy to make, but the end result is awesome! If you are feeling adventurous for your DIY Gifts challenge, then I say go for it.
Turn a vintage tin can found at a thrift store into a delightful DIY candle. Found this tutorial on Design Sponge. Who doesn’t like candles?? I love candles, but it is just one of those things I never buy for myself because of the $$. Hence why they make a great gift!
